The VR Continuum Trek Tachyon Flash Screensaver

This is just a simple Flash file and nowhere near the sophistication of System 47,
which is the best of the Star Trek STTNG LCARS-style savers.

On the other hand, the Trek Tachyon Flash Screensaver has sound, it is interactive (press various buttons) and it's small so you don't have to wait long for it to load up. The native Flash file can be played on any system that uses the Flash browser plug-in. (You can preview it in your browser by left-clicking on the .swf link below - it will load even faster if you download it.)

We also have a Flash .EXE version that will work on any PC even if you don't use the Flash plug-in.

Both files are virus-free, spyware-free, etc. Scanned with NAV and Pest Patrol.

If you would prefer the stand-alone .EXE version, click the link below to download and save to yer hard disk. An .EXE file is an executable file, so be sure to click Save, not Open or Run when downloading.

Double-click to open the .SWF or .EXE version in the non-browser stand-alone Flash Player. Click on View in the Flash Player Menu. Click on Full Screen (Ctrl+F) and enjoy. You don't even have to install or turn off other screensavers or power savers.

Press the ESC button on your keyboard to exit Full Screen mode and click File and Exit to shut off the Flash Player.

Disclaimers: "Screensavers" don't really extend the life of your monitor.
